【Jun】So you just picked up that Tumbler, right? What is that?
（新しいタンブラーを買ったんだって？それはどういうもの？）

【Akina】Have you heard of these? It’s like, they’re called Stanley Cups.
（これ知ってる？スタンレーカップって言うタンブラーなんだ）

【Jun】Stanley Cup? Not like the Stanley Cup, NHL…
（スタンレーカップ？ホッケーのスタンレーカップとは違うんだよね？）

【Akina】NHL…
（NHLね…）

【Jun】Yeah, that’s what its’ called, right? The tropphy is called the Stanley Cup.
（ホッケーの優勝カップも同じ名前だよね？）

【Akina】For hockey?
（ホッケーの？）

【Jun】For Hocky. Yeah, yeah. But that’s the name of the brand.
（そうそう。でもスタンレーっていうタンブラーのブランドだよね）

【Akina】Yes. It’s the name of the brand. And I don’t know if it has anything to do with hockey. I remember, like, the first time I heard about it was when I went to lunch with Diep.
（そう、ブランドの名前。でもホッケーと関係があるかは分からないわ。このブランドを初めて知ったのは、ディエプさんとランチに行った時だったかな）

【Jun】Yeah.
（うん）

【Akina】And then she was like, “Oh, I need to pick up, like a Christmas gift. I’m going to get a Stanley Cup.”
（彼女は「クリスマスプレゼントを探しるんだけど、スタンリーカップを買おうと思ってるの」って言ってたの）

【Jun】A Stanley Cup. Okay.
（そうなんだ）

【Akina】And I was like, what is Stanley Cup? She was like, “It’s like the next big thing for, like, cups, and like, Thermoses.” So ever since she, like told me about it, I just feel like I kept seeing them at work and everybody has a Stanley Cup. So I kind of just wanted to see like what all the hype was about.
（その時彼女は「次に流行るタンブラーよ。昔流行ったサーモスみたいな感じね」って言ってたの。その話を彼女に聞いた時から気になってて、気づいたら職場の人たちもみんなスタンレーカップを持ってたの。だから話題の商品はどんな感じか自分でも買って試してみたかっただけよ）

【Jun】Yeah. So you were jumping on the bandwagon?
（そうなんだ。じゃあ流行に乗ってみたんだね？）

【Akina】Kind of. Well, and also like, because I have a thermos, and it’s a Zojirushi.
（そんな感じ。それに私が持ってる魔法瓶は象印かな？）

【Jun】I have this one right here, thermos or サーモス. Is that how they say it in Japanese? We got this in Japan. This thing is amazing. I ain’t going to lie.
（僕が持ってるのはサーモスだよ。日本語だと発音が違うかな？これは日本で買ったけど、すごく性能がいいんだ。ホントだよ）

【Akina】And so I have one like that, but it’s a black one. And then whenever I try to get water from, like the dispenser at work, it doesn’t sense my thermos…
（私も同じようなのを持ってるけど、私のは黒よ。でもいつも職場のウォーターサーバーから水を汲もうとすると反応してくれないの）

【Jun】Gotcha.
（なるほど）

【Akina】Because it’s black. So then I decided to get a brighter one.
（黒だから反応してくれないのよ。だから明るい色に買い替えることにしたの）

【Jun】Gotcha. And how do you like it?
（そういうことか。で、使い心地はどうなの？）

【Akina】It’s not bad. I mean, it has a straw, and I feel like it’s easy to clean.
（悪くないわ。ストローもついてるし洗いやすい気がするし）

【Jun】Gotcha. But I mean there’s this, and I feel like, what…Is it like a Thermos kid of thing right now?
（そうなんだ。でもこのタイプのタンブラーもあるけど、サーモスに似ているタンブラーもあるよね？）

【Akina】Another really popular one is the YETI.
（すごく人気があるイエティってブランドも知ってるわ）

【Jun】 The YETI. There’s a YETI. And I feel like I’ve also seen the Hydro, the Hydro Flask.
（それだ。あとはハイドロなんとか、ハイドロフラスクかな？）

【Akina】My sister has it.
（妹が持ってるわ）

【Jun】Yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s like the big one, right?
（そうそう、あの大きい奴だよね？）

【Akina】Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean I don’t know what the difference is. I feel like they all just, like, are well insulated. So they keep your drink cold or hot.
（そうそう。正直、何が違うのかわからないけどね。保温性に優れてるのはどれも一緒。飲み物の温度を保ってくれることに変わりはないわ）

【Jun】All right, well, you tell me how you like that one. And in the meantime, I’m going to stick with my Thermos.
（それを使って感想を教えてよ。その間、僕は変わらずサーモスを使うから）

【Akina】They’re probably all the same.
（多分、何も変わらないと思うよ）

【Jun】Yeah, they’re probably all the same. At the end of the day, as long as it keeps your water hot, cold, that’s all matters, right?
（どれも同じだろうね。最終的には保温性が一番大事だからね）
