【Kara】Hey everyone! My name is Kara Penny and I’m so happy to be here with my new friend today, Manning!

【Manning】And I’m Manning Gray. So happy to be here!

【Kara】Great! So, Manning the Olympics are coming up. What is your favorite Olympic sport to watch and why?

【Manning】So my favorite Olympic sport to watch is the Rugby Sevens.

【Kara】Ooh.

【Manning】And one of—the main reason is that I used to play a little bit of rugby and Rugby Sevens is only seven guys…

【Kara】Mm hm.

【Manning】…and it’s typically very fast.

【Kara】Yeah.

【Manning】Very…a little rough. And it’s just so exciting to watch. And then, one—one other reason is that one of the Patriots players…gosh, now he’s going to—his name escapes me. But there was a New England Patriots football player who was in the…

【Kara】Boo! (laughs)

【Manning】…Olympics. And he was a terrific player and he scored a try and all the Patriots were watching. This was in—when it was the Brazil Olympics. And it was just so much fun to watch. So that’s—that’s really why. How about you, Kara? What Olympic sport do you like to watch?

【Kara】I have a weird one. My favorite sport to watch is equestrian sports or horse riding.

【Manning】Oh, yeah, yeah.

【Kara】Growing up, I think from the age of, like 5 until about 20, I was a horse rider. Yeah, I know, very, very strange. And the funniest part about professional horse-riding is that it’s one of two Olympic sports where men and women actually compete together. There is no gender rank. There’s no Women’s League, Men’s League. None. So I find it quite fair and I find it quite interesting. I don’t think you could pay me enough money to get on a horse now. I am 29 and if I fell, I think it would hurt a lot. (laughs) So I enjoyed it. I love watching it. I think I’m okay for right now.
