Thank you Akina-san.
I’m glad to hear your opinon.
I’m a pharmacist,too.
I work at pharmacy near the hospital that is an infectious disease designated medical institution.
Online prescription has increased lately.
I hope medical companies develop vaccines and medications that fight against the Coronavirus as soon as possible.
You’re a pharmacist too, あいあいさん!I hope you are staying safe out there!
Thanks for sharing the ongoing situation in the U.S with us. I was wondering if ACE and ARB worsen patients with coronavirus infection. What do you think about it from the point of view of pharmacology?
Thank you for very an informative and a positive interview!
I live in LA with my husband and 2 kids and I gave up watching news since last week, cuz it was too much and i had a lot of fear.
But this interview made me feel much better and I’m trying to be strong and not to worry too much.
We’ll stay home not to get a virus and not to spread and to save more lives.
I hope we’ll be able to walk along the beach and kids can play in a playground with other kids anytime soon.
I will try to focus on improving my English and thinking about my family’s bright future even in this weird and uncertain situation.
Thank you so much and stay safe!
Thank you sonar! It’s been over a month since this interview and things are finally starting to reopen. I hope you and your family are safe and doing well in LA! Take care!
Thank you for sharing the situation at LA. I check this podcast program and YouTube not only for learning English, but also to know the situation. Because my daughter is in California.
I was relieved to hear that the hospital was not panicked.
May this difficult time end as soon as possible.
Thank you Akiko. I hope your daughter daughter is safe and doing well in California!
Thank you Akina-san for sharing the situation and your thoughts on Covid-19. Also big applause with gratitude to you and your coworkers in the hospital for their service. I live in Tokyo and something I am scared of is people have no social distancing in grocery stores. They just lined up at cashier very closely and so many people in the stores. Hope we can control the curve and what I can do is just stay at home (and learning English). Stay safe, thank you!
Thank you Mo!
Hello, Jun-san,
I teach English at a medical school in Japan. I just wanted to say a big thank you and your wife for sharing up-to-date situation at an emergency room in LA. What Akina-san explained cordially in the video or youtube is a perfect tool for my medical/nursing students to have them familiarize with special terminology. I hope you don’t mind my creating handouts for my English class based on this special interview.
Since two years before, I’ve encouraged my students to learn English using your podcast/website/youtube, etc. Some students are determined to go abroad to have their clinical rotation before they graduate. I know the current situation is pretty tough, but I wish them luck. I also hope you can visit us some day when the whole situation is settled down. Our school is in Miyazaki, next to Kagoshima. Again, thank you.
Sincerely,
Miyuki Nambu
Thank you Miyuki! I appreciated your kinds words 😊 Thank you for sharing my material with your students! It’s no problem at all. Hope you are staying safe!
Junさん、はじめまして。
小さな質問です。
“282”を読む時にhundredsは不要ですか?
変な事を聞いていたらすいません。
よろしくお願いします。
K.M.
Two eighty-two と Two hundred eight-two どちらでもOKです!
